world class flamenco and tapas. $10 cover for the performers and $10 minimum consumption. Dinnner starts at 6PM and the show at 7PM. Encuentro Flamenco presents Mina Fajardo featuring music composed and performed by the world renowned "Chuscales" and pieces choreographed by Chuscales and Mina Fajardo. The company: Mina Fajardo– Baile; Emmy Grimm– Baile; Veronica Medina– Cante; and Jaime Martinez – Guitarra.

Fajardo has performed in Japan, New York City, San Francisco, Boston, Denver, Houston, Maryland and Albuquerque and has made several appearances on television in Manhattan, New Mexico and Japan. In Santa Fe, she has performed at the Santa Fe Opera and in the Santa Fe Jazz and International Music Festival at the Lensic Theatre. She has received extensive training in flamenco, Escuela bolero, jazz, Tap and ballet in Spain from El Guito, Carmera Greco, Ciro, La Tati, La China, Alejandro Granados, Yolanda Heredia, Eva La Yerbabuena, Andres Marin, Joaquin Ruiz and Keiko Issiki. She has taught in the Maria Benitez Institute for Spanish Arts, Eva Encinias Sandoval's National Institute of Flamenco and for the Spanish Institute of Dance in Houston, Texas, and Fazil Dance Studio in New York City. She has performed with many artists including Elena Andujar, El Pripi, La Tibu, Carmen Rasarao, Chuscales, YiYi, Silverio Heredia, Tequila de Jerez, Omayra Amaya, Juan Siddi and Keiko Isshiki.

Jazz Brasileiro is the Albuquerque duo that plays bossa nova classics and contemporary Brazilian jazz. From Jobim to Joyce, Jazz Brasileiro is synonymous with Brazilian jazz and features Tony Cesarano on guitar and Debo Orlofsky on vocals and percussion. Be it "Garota de Ipanema" (Girl from Ipanema) or more modern bossas and sambas, the duo puts its own spin on the music with beautiful and inventive arrangements.

Bobcats Trio. Three of Albuquerque's finest musicians, Bob Gusch, John Griffin, and Dan Dowling have teamed up to play classic and contemporary jazz, swing, and latin. Seven–string guitarist Dan Dowling is a veteran jazz and blues musician who has been performing in combos ranging in size from duo to big band for the last three decades. Dan was one of the five finalists in the Heritage International Jazz Guitar Competition of 1996, and was named "Best Unsigned Blues Artist" in 1995 by the Nashville Music City Blues Society. Bob Gusch on woodwinds has been a mainstay of the Albuquerque music scene backing such greats as Clark Terry and Dianne Reeves. Locally he has played with many bands including the Albuquerque Jazz Orchestra and Outpost Repertoire Jazz Orchestra and currently leads his band Saudade. John Griffin is a long time acoustic and electric bassist with various Jazz, Blues, and Rock groups. He has appeared with artists such as Bo Diddley, Eddie Harris, and Charlie Rouse.
