I'm a long time lover of acoustic blues music, but am influenced and inspired by many musicians... from Lightning Hopkins and Charlie Patton to Albert and BB King to Billy Gibbons and Jimmie Vaughan, Big Bill Broonzy, etc. The fact that my hands were injured in a fire way back when I was 8 years old hasn't stopped me from playing and writing... I play and write bringing together many influences and my own creativity in a style of my own, with a desire to continue the “tradition” of acoustic blues guitar. I play acoustic flatpick, fingerstyle "hybrid", as well as slide in standard and open tunings, and have added harmonica to my live playing. I can play electric in a band setting as well..
